From Warren Moon to Russell Wilson to Jameis Winston, there have been some intelligent and very bright black quarterbacks in the National Football League.
The reason people in the media are tip-toeing around the conversation to be had surrounding the awareness and intelligence of Cam Newton is because of the old stupid and racist rhetoric about black quarterbacks being unable to succeed in the NFL.
