There has been plenty of speculation as to why there are reported rifts within the Patriots organization. Seth Wickersham of ESPN in a lengthy article, presented sources that claimed there is extreme hot water being boiled over between Patriots Owner Robert Kraft, Head Bill Belichick, and Quarterback Tom Brady.
Doug Gottlieb says the main reason for the apparent rift is obvious, and it's name is Jimmy Garoppolo. He says reports of uneasiness within the organization first stemmed when Garoppolo was traded to the 49ers back in November, and now things have gotten so toxic it's become public.
