It was an amazing game. The 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship ended in historic fashion, with Alabama true freshman quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throwing a bomb in overtime to win the title. Head coach Nick Saban didn't only win his sixth career National Championship, he became in the eyes of many, the greatest college football coach the sport has ever seen. To win five championships within a ten-year span is unprecedented in today's age of recruiting, and until the legendary coach retires, it may not be the last time he lifts the championship trophy.
