How Did Nassar Sustain Horrors in a Post-Sandusky Era?

“So much of the coverage of Jerry Sandusky was about how Sandusky should be this bright shining beacon to teach all of us to be vigilant in ensuring that this NEVER happens again and that there are never hundreds of child victims of anyone associated with athletics ever again.”

Clay Travis thinks it’s odd that two of the most disturbingly heinous crimes of the generation occurred consecutively with one another, with both tragedies headlined by cover-ups at high profile athletic institutions involving the sexual assault of minors, and in the same conference no less.

Travis wonders how an individual like Larry Nassar could still manage to pull off the atrocities that he did and go undetected given the fact that it came during a period where the fallout at Penn State was still so fresh on everyone’s mind.
