The drought is over for the Minnesota Timberwolves! After 14 years of missing the playoffs, Minnesota clinched their first playoff berth since 2004 in an overtime victory over the Denver Nuggets. The Timberwolves are the 8th seed in the loaded Western Conference and after their landmark win, they will be matched up with the top seeded Houston Rockets. The question now becomes: Do the Wolves have a chance at upsetting the Rockets in the first round.
Most consider the first round matchup between Houston and Minnesota to be a total formality and that the Rockets should be able to handle the T'Wolves pretty handily. Steve and Jeffrey Gorman look at the matchup and discuss if there is even a slight possibility that the Wolves can challenge the Rockets.
