Maybe We're Not Giving the Cleveland Browns Enough Credit

Maybe We're Not Giving the Cleveland Browns Enough Credit

"It's Cleveland."

As the dust settled on the 2018 NFL Draft, a familiar scenario rippled across the sports world. The Cleveland Browns once again picked early in the Draft, this time at No. 1 and No. 4 of the first round, and the Browns once again made selections that had most scratching their heads. But why were heads being scratched?

Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn looked at the Browns selecting Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward at numbers one and four respectively and floated the idea that maybe these picks, which were made by John Dorsey and Scot McCloughan who have histories of finding talent in the draft, are getting dragged through the mud primarily because they were made by Cleveland.
