LeBron Did The NBA A Huge Favor

A popular narrative being tossed around is that the NBA only has a few legitimate contenders who could win a championship. LeBron James' move to the Los Angeles Lakers made the Western Conference even stronger by making the Purple and Gold a contender after years of struggling. The biggest problem that many have had with the NBA the last couple of seasons is that there are only 3-4 teams who could realistically win a title. But did LeBron actually help the NBA create more parity by going to the Lakers?

Colin Cowherd explains why LeBron did the NBA a huge favor by going to the Lakers and not a team like the Philadelphia 76ers or the Houston Rockets. He says that there are legitimately seven good teams in the league, which is similar to the era that Michael Jordan competed in.
