Colin Cowherd understands that the new QB protection rules are a little heavy-handed but supports them nonetheless. He says they are there to protect the most valuable assets in the NFL and higher overall QB ratings this season prove his point. It may take a while to iron out the kinks in enforcement but it will definitely benefit the league in the long run.
