Unwritten Rules of Baseball Cost CC Sabathia Money

It was a wild day in Tampa Bay as the Rays hosted the Yankees in the final game of their series. Yankees P CC Sabathia was dealing and just two innings shy of earning a $500,000 bonus incentive bonus in his contract. But he threw a 93 MPH pitch inside on a Rays player and was tossed by the home plate umpire. The pitch was a retaliation pitch for something that happened earlier in the game.
