Clay Travis Loves James Franklin's Strong Message in Defense of His Player

Clay Travis praised Penn State head football coach James Franklin and how he handled a recent situation involving one of his current players and a letter he received from an alumni of the university. The letter, which was sent to safety Jonathan Sutherland, was critical of his dreadlocks and tattoos, and the author of the letter requested that Sutherland change his hairstyle moving forward.

Coach Franklin got out in front of the issue at his recent press conference, and offered a passionate defense of Sutherland. Clay Travis loved this from coach Franklin, stating, "I think that was such a well said rationale for what sports can represent as a unifying factor in this country."
