Chicago Bears Should Make a Run to Acquire Aaron Rodgers

Chicago Bears Should Make a Run For Aaron Rodgers
Bucky Brooks: “You know who needs a quarterback? The Bears. Aaron Rodgers can go play for the Bears next year. They’re not going to sign Mitch Trubisky to a fifth-year option, Nick Foles will play this year, and then Aaron Rodgers can do the Brett Favre thing. How great would that be if Rodgers ended up with the Bears and faced Jordan Love twice a year just like Favre did?" (Audio Above)
Jonas Knox: “You know Rodgers is petty enough to do that. His girlfriend Danica Patrick grew up a Bears fan too!”

Listen to Bucky Brooks and Jonas Knox discuss a potential scenario of Aaron Rodgers leaving Green Bay to play for the Chicago Bears, as Rodgers’ future with the Packers appears extremely convoluted following the team’s selection of Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of this past weekend’s Draft.

The 36-year-old went 13-3 last season and is still perceived as one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but his production has begun to wane in recent seasons, as Rodgers finished just 16th in the league in passing yards per game this past season, and only 20th in QBR.

Check out the audio above as Brooks thinks Rodgers could become the next Brett Favre, as a local icon who would later play for a hated division rival (Minnesota), with Knox saying that Rodgers would definitely be petty enough to crave revenge against Green Bay for drafting Jordan Love.
