The Packers Didn't Have To Reach For Need

The NFL draft has come and gone and the Green Bay Packers have probably been the most criticized team after they decided not to draft an offensive weapon with their first round pick. Doug Gottlieb responds to a tweet by SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic’s tweet showing that Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has only thrown one touchdown to a first round pick. Doug explains that teams that draft at the end of the first round can be in trouble when drafting a wide receiver because they can be hit or miss that late in the draft and that the idea the Packers aren’t supporting Aaron Rodgers because they didn’t draft a wide receiver in the first round is peak idiocy.
