Colin Cowherd: LeBron James is More 'Wilt Chamberlain' than Michael Jordan

Colin Cowherd: “Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest physical specimen in the history of the NBA and it’s not even close… In the 60’s as a CENTER he was leading the NBA in everything. He had 702 assists one season and led the NBA. He led the NBA in minutes played, and one year actually averaged more minutes than games are long, playing every minute of every game and then overtime… We always compare LeBron to Michael because they’re the two best players ever, but LeBron really is WILT. He’s the second greatest physical specimen ever. LeBron didn’t have a single injury of note for 16 years and was leading the NBA in minutes. That is just unheard of. And now LeBron in his 17th year with a new roster and a new coach says he’s going to change positions and then he becomes the best in the world at point guard. He was the fastest and the strongest player in the NBA for years, and he’s the only player in my life who can guard the center and guard the point guard.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks LeBron James should be compared to Wilt Chamberlain, and not Michael Jordan, when it comes to head-to-head historical evaluations, as Colin believes Wilt and LeBron are by far the greatest and most unique physical specimens ever.

Check out the video above as Colin details why LeBron and Wilt have led such similar careers, and why fans need to acknowledge how metaphorically rare these two phenoms are.
