After watching Jimmy Butler’s performance in the NBA Bubble, including last night’s monster game, Dan Patrick thinks Butler deserves consideration for the Finals MVP even if the Heat lose the series. It’s not unprecedented (Jerry West in 1969) and, while Dan doesn’t think it will happen, he thinks Jimmy is deserving of consideration. He is playing more minutes than anyone, leads his team in scoring and is also guarding LeBron on the defensive end. Needless to say, Dan has been thoroughly impressed and has permanently raised his opinion of the man.
