Clayton Kershaw has been Dodgers best player the past 8 years. In the playoffs, he's an every-other-game guy. Jason Smith and Mike Harmon understand why the Dodgers haven't won it all and it's not that Clayton Kershaw has been awful in the playoffs but he's only been average. Like Peyton Manning, he has one level of excellence but when other teams raise their play in the playoffs, he gets beat about half the time.
