The New York Giants Continue to Make Mistakes

TJ Houshmandzadeh: "I'll be honest and say that the Giants shouldn't have drafted Kadarius Toney. When he was drafted, I said 'why are they drafting him? They don't need him, this is a bad draft pick.' Not saying he's not a good player, the Giants don't need him. They signed Kenny Golladay as a free agent. Sterling Shepard is your slot receiver, who's your best receiver, and Darius Slayton played very well in his first two seasons. Why do you need Kadarius Toney? And Gettleman comes out and says they can use him in the jet sweep. You draft somebody in the first round to be a gadget guy? That's a terrible draft pick. And on Toney's part - he could be frustrated because he's not playing, but you got hurt. You don't think they want to play you? You're a first round pick, they're invested in you. You got hurt, support your teammates. But Gettleman should have never drafted him, they didn't need him, it was a bad draft pick."

LaVar Arrington, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and Plaxico Burress react to Giants rookie WR Kadarius Toney expressing his frustrations on social media. TJ rips the Giants for using a first round pick on Toney, explaining why the Giants blew that selection by drafting a player they didn't need. The guys discuss the sluggish offensive start to the season for Saquon Barkley and examine Dave Gettleman's role in the team's struggles.
