Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to the latest report from the Houston Chronicle that says the Miami Dolphins and the Houston Texans have agreed to a deal for Deshaun Watson to play for Miami. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell spoke with the media about Watson’s case and decided the NFL doesn’t have enough evidence to put Watson on the exempt list. Rob and Chris discuss whether or not it would be wise for Miami to swing for Watson when his availability isn’t guaranteed if charges are pressed against him.

Rob Parker: “What if Miami makes the trade and the Houston police decide they want to press charges. They could do that at any time.”

Chris Broussard: “The Dolphins want Deshaun Watson to settle. If he settles, then you might not get him this season if the league wants to put him on the exempt list, but you’d get him next year and going forward. Obviously the Dolphins would sign up for that!”
