Why Baker Mayfield No Longer Deserves Cleveland Browns Starting Job

On Sunday, Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns went head to head against their division rival, the Baltimore Ravens but unfortunately came up short. In this game, we saw Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson eat 4 interceptions from the defense but it wasn't enough for Browns to take advantage. Now Cleveland appears questionable about their quest for a spot in the NFL playoffs with a record of 6-6 after week 12.

Ben Maller makes the case that Baker Mayfield's performance has been under par and it's about time to take the starting job away from him:

"If you asked the question: Does Baker Mayfield deserve to keep the starting job in Cleveland? I'm shaking my head, NO...Baker Mayfield is simply not getting the job done. The last five weeks, Mayfield's passer rating is under 80. He's completed 56% of his passes, and It's just painful to watch him sling the ball down the field for the Browns. If the Browns have any intention of getting to the playoffs, Baker Mayfield is not going to lead them down the path."
