There’s a very strong difference between when you purposely try and hurt somebody and what that was. Nonetheless, Klay Thompson doesn’t shoot well, you have no Draymond and you still find a way to win the game. Winners win, they just figure it out.”
Draymond Green doesn’t believe his flagrant foul met the criteria that justified his ejection from the Warriors’ game 1 win over the Grizzlies. Doug Gottlieb says that while Green’s antics are apropos, his response was brilliant and agrees that his ejection was reputation based. Draymond didn’t deserve to get ejected, but it didn’t matter because between the ejection and the hostile environment in Memphis, the Warriors still figured it out and stole home court!
