“Doug Gottlieb: The intention, I think, was a good one. You bust your ass in class, you bust your ass in the weight room, you bust your ass on the football field, you play great, you’re in college with no money in your pocket, why can’t you go and do an appearance at a restaurant and get free meals there? Why can’t you do something for a car dealership and get something to drive around? I think that’s actually reasonable. The problem is, once you open Pandora’s Box, you’ve got a whole litany of issues.”
