Jason Whitlock: "I’m looking at people all across the corporate media space defending this suspension for a man tweeting out a graphic. He didn’t put a word to it, he just tweeted out a graphic. He’s being suspended five games without pay and we’re good with this?? Virtually nobody is standing up and objecting? When you put that out with no comment you’re saying this exists and ‘I find it interesting', I don’t know if he thought he was courting danger. When he didn’t take the vaccine, I think he was courting danger. Kyrie is getting suspended for five games unpaid. They’re reaching into this man’s pocket and taking a significant amount, and their union has said nothing. They have Tamika Tremaglio as the director, some ‘yassss queen’ female director of their union, and they’re weak. They’re bending over and rolling over as one of their members gets steamrolled. There is no unity in the NBA, there is union in the NBA, there is a bunch of sheep being led around. These guys are too young and they make too much money. They have no common sense and no backbone. There is no way any union should be allowing one of its members and one of its employees to get treated the way Kyrie is without uttering a word in his defense. I feel sorry for the guy, he’s surrounded by a group of cowards who won’t get in the foxhole with him. NBA and NFL players are letting these billionaires [say] — “OK, we’ll let you finance your social justice initiatives but when we say ‘jump’, you better say ‘HOW HIGH, MASSA!?’, and that’s what they’re learning right now. It’s not about the doc, it’s about a message that the NBA and NFL owners have been sitting on: ‘you players are running wild... you think you’re in control of this??’ and they’re letting Kyrie and everybody else in professional sports know, ‘No, WE run this. We’ve built a nice little mouse trap for you here, and now you’ve taken the cheese we control you and own you.’ I’m looking at the overseers, it’s their job to remind them [the players]… Charles Barkley basically argued that Adam Silver is the commissioner, he’s Jewish, so this is a Jewish-run league, many of the owners are Jewish, and you can’t denigrate their religion or their ethnicity. This same group of people have partnered with hip-hop. You go to NBA All-Star Weekend and you go to any of their showcase events, there will be a hip-hop artist performing, and they will be promoting music that denigrates Black people constantly. You bathe your players in the denigration of Black men, women, and the whole culture and then you’re shocked that that group of people would be comfortable in any tiny way denigrating YOU? ‘We’re very comfortable with you denigrating yourself, but damn it, you better not retweet a movie that in any way questions anything about us.’ I follow Kyrie on Twitter, if not for this controversy I would have never known that he tweeted anything about this movie. They said ‘HE HAS 17 MILLION FOLLOWERS!’… I bet before this controversy there were 300 people that clicked and went to go find out what that move was about. This movie ain’t done no harm to nobody. It’s a bad movie, it’s boring, it’s not compelling, it put me to sleep, and I had to put toothpicks in my eyes to continue watching it. Everybody knows it, it’s a scam they’re running. The message is 'no, you Negroes, you denigrate yourself, you leave us out of it, we're the chosen ones'... This was all orchestrated. When I saw Shaq and Charles Tuesday night I was like ‘oh, they’re going to suspend Kyrie.’ This is how you unpack this suspension, let’s send the Negroes out first and demand for it, call for it, justify it, and then we’ll come and look very reasonable, ‘well, I mean Charles Barkley said we should suspend him, Reggie Miller said we should suspend him…’ Nobody wants to discuss what we’re really talking about here. A movie graphic? A documentary? Nobody had the courage at any point to say ‘hey man, it’s just retweeting of a graphic'? Everybody knows how we use Twitter, 95% of the people didn’t even see the tweet, another 99% didn’t even understand the tweet, and then there’s the tiny 1% that ‘may’ have known it was some documentary. If they spent ten minutes watching it they’d fall asleep or cut it off. All of this racial dynamics game is all performative. EVERYBODY is performing. I don’t want to let the Jewish side of this off the hook. All the people pretending that this documentary has done ‘great harm’, that’s all a performance. They know that’s not true. There are people who don't think Jesus died on the cross, they think Jesus is make-believe. There are all kinds of things that I completely disagree with them about as it relates to my faith... No skin off my back, I'm going to hit them with the truth, if they don't want to accept it, that's on them, but I'm not calling for them to be de-platformed. My skin is thick enough and my faith is strong enough that I'm just not worried about people that disagree with me and say things that I find illogical." (Full Video Above)
