Nikola Jokić was named NBA Finals MVP last night as the Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat in game 5 to win their first ever NBA Championship on their home floor last night. Doug puts the Joker in a class all by himself, despite the fact that he is not the athletic specimen we are accustomed to watching dominate the NBA. He’s humble, generous, focused, and flat out the most productive player on the court every night.
Doug Gottlieb: “We think, automatically, that the guy who runs the fastest, jumps the highest, looks the part, is the best. That is not the case...If you check boxes for how you’re supposed to act, what you’re supposed to do; (Nikola Jokić) fills them all out!”
