The Pac-12 Is on the Precipice of Collapse

The Pac-12 has been presented with a potential deal with Apple TV to stream games, but the exact details are hazy. Dan wonders if it makes any sense to enter into any business deal with a conference that looks to be on the verge of collapse. It started with losing their biggest programs in UCLA and USC to the Big Ten, then Colorado defected to the Big 12, and now Arizona, Arizona State and Utah are also considering realigning themselves. It’s hard to imagine making a TV rights deal with the Pac-12 when nobody knows if will even exist in 2 or 3 years.

Dan Patrick: “What’s the Pac-12 going to look like in 2 or 3 years? Will there be a Pac-12? I just think we’re on the precipice of the potential collapse of the Pac-12. I think we got an Amber Alert here going on.”
