Emmanuel Acho Isn't Buying the Detroit Lions Hype

Emmanuel Acho: “I do not buy the hype in the Detroit Lions. I am isolated on a boat by myself because I don’t believe yet in the Detroit Lions. I don’t have reason to. Let me remind every one of you at home that the Jared Goff-era Detroit Lions are 1-14 in the months of September and October. Let me remind you that we are celebrating a Detroit Lions team because they won nine games. Did they make the playoffs last year? No, they didn’t. They won nine games yet we hail them as if they made the playoffs. Dan Campbell, head coach, it’s on YOU. They said you got the pieces. First-round running back, first-round linebacker, Amon-Ra St. Brown at wide receiver, Jared Goff was a Pro-Bowler last year... They said you got the pieces, let it materialize into dubs. It’s Jared Goff, it’s Dan Campbell, I need to see a statement from them [vs. Kansas City].” (Full Segment Above)

Watch Emmanuel Acho of FS1’s Speak explain why he’s not buying stock in the Detroit Lions this season despite the Lions being the betting favorite to win the NFC North, coming off a season in which they won 8 of their final 10 games and memorably eliminated Aaron Rodgers and the Packers from playoff contention in Week 17 at Lambeau Field.
