Nick Wright: Dak Prescott's Career is on the Line

Nick Wright: “This is the biggest year of Dak Prescott’s career and the most pressure he’s ever been under. For Dak Prescott, a guy who came into the league and immediately became one of the best fourth-round or later quarterbacks in league history. Then the next year there was the drama with the Zeke suspension that seemingly derailed their year. Then the next year they start off terribly and then they add Amari Cooper, they end up in the playoffs, and he wins a playoff game for the first time. Then an up-and-down 2019 and 2020. In 2019, they had the best offense but can’t win a close game so they fire Jason Garrett. Then he breaks his leg after that. The last two years the team has been excellent. Dak was excellent in 2021, last year he was not, and now they have all the pieces possible around him in a wide-open conference with legitimate—not media-created Super Bowl expectations, LEGITIMATE Super Bowl expectations. And oh, by the way, after the season the team must make a decision on his contract. That is not an option. They either extend him after this season or he hits free agency. There is a MASSIVE amount of pressure on Dak Prescott and it’s deserved pressure because his team is AWESOME as long as he is ‘good’. For the team to be ‘great’, he just has to be ‘good.’” (Full Segment Above)
