On a new episode of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard and Rob Parker discuss Chargers Head Coach Brandon Staley’s postseason failure, and how this could be his last season as head coach in Los Angeles.
Chris Broussard: “He shouldn’t have even gotten past that playoff game...He should be on notice! I’m sorry, but this isn’t charity, this is not, ‘Oh we like him.’ This is about winning games! These players work too hard to have a coach be the reason they are losing!”
Rob Parker: “How in the world was he not fired after they blew a 27-0 playoff lead? If you can’t get fired by that then what in the world will it take for him to get fired...The Jacksonville comeback was the third largest in NFL postseason history, it was of epic proportion and that dude still got to keep his job. HOW?!”
