Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields hit the news cycle for commenting about his “coaching” in relation to his on-field struggles. He then re-addressed the media to clarify those comments which he claims were taken out of context. And while Doug agrees that his comments were, in fact, misrepresented by the media, it’s the part where Fields says he is overwhelmed by all of the information he needs to process during games. He’s long past the point where he should still have trouble making basic reads and managing the offense.
Doug Gottlieb: “People are going to just take ‘coaching’ and not take the whole context of it...to me, the more troubling thing is that he’s admitting he’s struggling processing all the information they’re giving him.”
