Fans in Denver were optimistic about HC Sean Payton coming in and helping QB Russell Wilson and the Broncos return to their former glory, but yesterday’s drubbing by the Miami Dolphins has left them in a state of shock. Clearly the defense quit, which should take nothing away from the Dolphins who were firing on all cylinders, but it’s the only thing that can adequately explain letting the Fins drop a 70-burger on you.
Doug Gottlieb: “That defense quit. Whatever is going on in Denver; that is a complete dumpster fire...they waved the white flag and then showed no fight at all. What a mess it is in Denver!”
