Florida State got snubbed by the College Football Playoff selection committee but Doug Gottlieb thinks the committee made the right decision. And while the Seminoles might be the more deserving team, Doug Gottlieb believes it’s more about simply selecting the four best teams in the country and without their starting QB, FSU just isn’t on that short list. The committee made the right decision leaving FSU out and giving us the best four teams left.
Doug Gottlieb: “It’s not an equitable system. It’s never been fair but the idea is very simple. The idea is to try and find the four best teams, period. Not the four most deserving team...This is not about, ‘Well you deserve a shot.’ No, you don’t! Sorry!”
