Jim Harbaugh and Michigan Could Still Lose This National Championship

Jim Harbaugh led his Michigan Wolverines to victory in the College Football Playoff National Championship last night, despite being suspended for six games during the season. And while he clearly feels vindicated and proclaimed his innocence during his post-game news conference, Dan reminds us that the program, and Harbaugh specifically, are still under investigation by the NCAA, a process that could take years. It’s certainly not out of the realm of possibility for the NCAA to vacate some of those wins and take the title away.

Dan Patrick: “In three years from now, do they vacate the title? Do they vacate the title because they’re going to forfeit those games? If you did cheat, what games did you cheat in? Can we give you victories there? With the NCAA, you never know...Michigan winning keeps this alive.”
