Britain Covey: "Devin Hester literally changed the way teams punt the ball. You go watch Devin Hester highlights and he's running past a lot of defensive ends and interior D-linemen... You don't see that anymore. You see every punt team is full of linebackers, safeties, running backs and receivers. It's speed guys... If Devin got past your initial line of skill positions, it was over. You don't see that anymore. Go look at punt return stats over the past 40 years, and you can see how in the past eight years, the total punt return yards in the league is drastically lower than the 30 previous years. And a lot of that is due to [Hester]."
