Cleveland Cavaliers SG Donovan Mitchell was asked about whether or not Kyrie Irving should get his Jersey retired in Cleveland stating that the former Cav should get his number retired because of the impact he had on the organization. Rob Parker and Andy Furman debate whether or not they think Kyrie deserves to get his jersey retired and discuss if the NBA as a whole has turned into a league that gives out participation trophies!

Rob Parker: “We now live in the NBA participation trophy era everyone is a hall of famer, everybody is a GOAT, everybody’s numbers should be retired, and everybody should get a tribute video! What is going on in the NBA and in sports where everybody wants to be crowned and given something! I DON’T GET  IT?!”
Andy Furman: “Shouldn’t you have to play for a team for a certain amount of years to get your number retried and more then that I don’t think a championship is the key to getting your number retired. Think this garbage all started when the Rockets retired James Hardens number, what is that all about!”
