The other day, LeBron James made headlines by saying the following about the prospect of playing alongside New Orleans Pelican's Anthony Davis:
"That would be amazing, like, duh," James continued. "That would be incredible."
Los Angeles Lakers have already had an incredible amount of rumors surrounding player movement and talk whether this squad, as presently constructed, can hang with the rest of the league so this quote has everyone in a frenzy about what could be down the road for Lebron and Davis.
Ben Maller reacts to this wondering if there's something shady going on here. Magic Johnson had gotten reprimanded for hoping to land Paul George, publically, not too long ago, and Maller thinks what LeBron James is doing here is not very different.
